PERSONALITY
DESCRIPTION: Despite being associated with the military, that mentality has only rubbed off on her in a mild dose. Around those she respects, or feels deserve her respect, she is respectful and straight laced toward. She knows the rules, and doesn't cross them without good reason. In fact, though she would speak up if she had something that she felt would help, or if someone was extremely wrong, she would do so respectfully and only to help the situation. This means she doesn't simply speak out of turn to force others to listen to her point of view or every little moment she feels differently about something. She's smart enough to choose her battles.
That being said, she's a very spunky person. Zayden has a rather bright outlook on most things, and a kind word to most comrades. And though she does have a certain amount of bite when she wants to (usually toward those she views as worthless or completely stupid), she almost always acts with grace and control. If she ever has to deal with Jack that might change.
Buuut of course there has to be another side, right? Zayden has never left Earth in her twenty seven years. And because of that, when faced with situations that are different (especially where aliens are concerned) she's going to be somewhat of a child, just testing the waters. That will get her in some bad situations, because in that state she can't help but blurt out most of what she's thinking. That could be about a certain race being slimy, and some being rather large and fat looking. Talking Rhino's, as she says Krogan are.
Mostly she's just an average girl, if arguably higher leveled in technology, which just tends to lean her toward the stereotype of being somewhat quirky. Still, she doesn't freak out under pressure, and can normally keep her cool while in more tense situations. Overall, she's a fairly nice woman that doesn't have any prejudice against the aliens species (other than a complete amazement at them that can get her into some serious trouble), and likes to be fair in everything she does. Her mouth can get her in trouble when she blurts things out, though, so she might start a few galactic wars.

HISTORY
History: Zayden's life in her early years was no different than most, aside from her life near a large military base in Texas area. Interestingly enough, despite that, her life was not ruled by her fathers ties with the military, nor by his time in such - at least in her early years. Her mother was a woman that had never been involved with the military before marrying her father, and after that was only associated through the days of worry she went through whenever he would be away. Still, by the time Zayden's older brother and her were old enough to go to school, he had become a well known man. Along with that, their family had always been wealthy.
With that wealth, opened up plenty of opportunities for his two children. Zayden was always competing with her brother growing up in life. In school, they competed over grades, which just got worse the older they got. As it turned out, they both seemed to have a knack when it came to to technology. That same knack, was not so much a gift (though they seemed to be naturally inclined in that direction) as something that was noticed and then with practice, lots of practice, came an easier time of making their way around technology and the skills associated with it.
By the time she was in high school, Zayden had impressed some critical people. Her brother, two years before had gotten a scholarship to get into the Systems Alliance. When it was her turn and she had graduated, Zayden herself was awarded a scholarship for the military training included in Systems Alliance, while also taking courses to advance her abilities as a technician. Her father was proud of his two children, since they both seemed to be doing exactly what they should have.
Until Zayden's brother ran off. Always having been interested in space, and after an argument with their father, he packed his bags and decided to leave earth. At first, Zayden got letters from her brother, but as time went by they got less and less. The last one she got, had mention of an organization named Cerberus, which she proceeded to research. Not liking the sound of them at all, from what little she found, she continued to try to get in contact with her brother to warn him to stay away from the organization. Unfortunately, she didn't hear from him for some time.
In the meantime, Zayden finished her schooling and continued to work in the communications systems for the Systems Alliance. There she excelled, her drive helping her to accomplish this. And yet, in the back of her mind, she worried about her brother. In the meantime, her father, in hopes of getting his son to return to the family, had a ship started to be built on Earth. Zayden also hoped that it would bring her wandering sibling home.
Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Eventually a message was received for her family, telling them of the death of her brother, as well as his involvement in the terrorist group Cerberus. The details were skewed, and hardly anything was told to them, or even known about the circumstances. Aside from her brother had died...and he had died a traitor.
So she threw herself into learning as much as she could about Cerberus. Trying to find a reason why her brother would do what he did, and why he would have gotten tied up in a group of terrorists. For two years, she's continued with her current job, but continued to try and figure out more about Cerberus. In the meantime, the ship built for her brother remains docked, and her parents haven't been the same since. In the meantime, she heard about a certain cause that she wanted to try and get in contact with.
And then Earth got hit...
Zayden hasn't been able to get in contact with her parents since the Reapers attacked Earth, and barely has had time to do anything but try to stay alive herself. With the future in question, no idea about her family, and the past smeared, she's started to make her way to a Captain Anderson to join his cause.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
MAJOR SKILLS:
Infiltrator:
- Electronics - Electronics can allow you to repair or bypass objects and increases the strength of your shields. With her training back on earth and a bright mind, Zayden has learned this talent through much time and practice.
- Damping - Damping increases the explosion radius on your tech proximity mines, and shuts down enemy tech and biotic abilities.
- Decryption - The talent allows the unlocking of sealed doors and containers that otherwise could not be accessed.
- Pistols - Despite focusing mainly on tech, Zayden has learned how to use weapons as well, and she's more than able to take care of herself.
WEAPONS, ARMOR AND BELONGINGS
WEAPONS: Kessler pistol - From her time in general military training, Zayden still has her Kesslery pistol that she now carries on her person at all times.
ARMOR:Human light armor - When the Reapers hit, Zayden, using her mind, dug out her old armor from military training, and is now wearing that in the situation she's found herself.
BELONGINGS:
Random ship - Her father had a ship built for her brother, but after his death, couldn't stand to have it around. With unstable parents, Zayden took control of most of their finances and things, and while she's never actually seen the ship that was made for her brother, she knows it's high quality and still functioning after the attack on Earth. And a valuable asset.
Omni-tool - With her job, it's not surprising that she has one of these. Zayden took to this tool quickly, and keeps hers on her at all times. (IF...this isn't a product that's commonly on earth, tell me and I'll be a good hoe and take it out)
