On stage, she was Rae Laux, famous singer from Earth who spread across the known, safer parts, of the galaxy to put on shows for humans and aliens alike. Rae's personality in front of her fans and mainly her manager was that of an up beat and a lady with a bubbly personality. Her smiles went a long way that would casually get fans to buy tickets and show up for the next big concert. Rae would usually act like all that hair dye got to her brain cells and would usually laugh constantly or 'flaunt' her stuff. Deep down though, Rae hated her job especially with her manager. But after getting him fired, her personality erupted.
Back home, may it be on Earth or somewhere that her family was staying, Rae was known as Rae Delilah Laux. That's when she was most relaxed, her happy and usual calm and lazy personality showed itself, especially around her close family-friends. Rae usually shows that she's very indifferent about what goes on in her inner family group, stating that she doesn't care what happens around her, this usually causes her mother to have an out burst.
Because of her traveling career, and she figured many guys just wanted fame and possibly fortune, she hasn't had much stable or good romance guys in her life, now with the Reaper War and the less likely hood of surviving, she doubts any good will happen.
After realizing what her father stood for before entering twenties; Rae stopped her teen year career as a pop star and became a soldier for the Alliance. In the midst of a fight, Rae simply goes cold like her mother would; and learned that her father Ronald was the same way. Rae become extremely serious and would rather get down to what has to be done and would act on it right away. But if innocent lives were to be thrown away, she wouldn't stand for it.

Rae Delilah Laux was born in California and not exactly the
only child to be born on August second. Rae is the twin of Derek Kasey Laux, the twins had been born into the Laux family, whom are known to have men and women enlist into the Alliance military when they came of age or would be placed into the early academies to be trained way ahead of time. Roland Harrison Laux being one of those that were put into high academy before twenty.
Before the twins were even five, Ronald was already going off with his wife, Lillian, about the twins possibly both doing an Academy that would introduce them into the Alliance Military earlier than most people due to him attending as well. Lillian did not feel as if it went on that well enough. Nor did it help that Rae was more interested in making some type of singing career, rather than becoming some sort of Soldier. This created friction as Rae got older, meanwhile Derek became Ronald's favorite, as he too wanted to become a Soldier like his father.
At the age of twelve, Rae's pop star career first started and took off. Her manager though, was a complete ass in her eyes, even form a young age she had agreed about this personal thought. She traveled across Earth rather quickly when it came to touring, having tutors that kept her on her toes that a normal school program would. Rae got fame from being a young singer, that an also in the military community, with the surname Laux.
Around the age of sixteen, Rae was out in the galaxy for the past two and a half years. This was when she had a falling out with her father who was returning to active duty that one year. Rae and Ronald had gotten into a big fight with each other. Rae felt as if her father's pride of being a soldier was being pushed onto her, meanwhile Ronald felt as if it was his daughter's honor to become a soldier like him and her brother was doing. Rae and her father fell out of contact after the fight. Emotionally, Rae locked her bubbly and happy personality deep within that would later manifest into a serious, cold nature when facing a battle.
Four years later, Rae's entire world seemed to be placed on a stand still. Home from a tour, her family moving off Earth to somewhere rather peaceful, she was the one who answered the door to see an Alliance Soldier there, and who told her the news about her father. Rae broke down, sadly her mother was no home, but Derek was who was also heart broken. Given his dogtags, and pity from the soldier; Rae called her manager and quit her pop star career and immediately went into the military, something her father had dreamed.
She was treated like all the other wannabe-soldiers. No one gave her special perks of being a pop star woman. Yet Rae.. felt comfortable about this, she felt as if she was fully being accepted for who she was. Regardless of her bright purple slash pink hair, Rae was a shining star when it came to sneaking around, especially with taking down barriers in record timing. What did happen, was that she was given somewhat of an extra boost with training, as it seemed that her father had put in last word, almost expecting Rae to join after his death.
Considerably a good soldier, she was surprised when the Citadel was in trouble, supposedly Saren was trying to bring back the Reaper. Skeptic like most people, Rae didn't exactly brush it underneath the carpet. Instead she and Derek were trying to read more about it, especially since their mother was a 'Galaxy' History Teacher. With the death of Commander Shepard more than a few months after the attack, Rae felt like humanity took a large hit.
Currently Rae prays that her cousins on her father side of the family are safe on Earth which is under attack, as she and the rest of the Laux and their mother's family being in space as well. Rae hopes that she can do something, whether it be in space or sent on the front lines, to reclaim what is truly, humanity's safe home.
