VESN’ESAAR NAR ARIAS

On the off chance that you stumble across Vesn during his solitary Pilgrimage, there are several traits about the Quarian that immediately present themselves. For one, being shrouded behind the mask of an enviro-suit is of little comfort to the young Quarian, for he poses a very reserved demeanor, bordering on outright shyness towards meeting others he’s not already acquainted with. The reason for this is that Vesn is rather timid; he lacks a certain confidence towards any social interactions, or really anything, and thus tends to avoid situations that he comes across. He’s not one to approach another or start a conversation, and he’s definitely not the type to go strutting around Citadel wards and Omega bars like he owns the place, rather keeping to the farthest away corner possible and praying to the gods of ten races that he doesn’t attract the attention of some hulking Krogan or group of rowdy humans. If you do happen to corner Vesn into an actual conversation, well, you may just find yourself with nothing short of a blathering mess. If there’s one thing Vesn lacks control of are his nerves. In any given encounter the Quarian will likely conjure up in his mind the ten worst case scenarios that could happen and then some, and he constantly frets and worries about how he’s handling whatever he’s gotten himself into. And if a situation does begin following one of his worst case scenarios, Vesn can become very compliant to the requests of his company, holding a particularly meek demeanor. A frown and a finger on a pistol are about all that it takes for you to get the Quarian to remark what a wonderful person you are, that 300 credits seems like a very reasonable price for safe passage, and that he must have misinterpreted what clearly isn’t an Eclipse insignia.
As socially inept as Vesn is, if you do take the time to actually get to know him you can find a surprisingly pleasant person. The Quarian holds a very friendly attitude, and rarely if ever does an insult or provocative word grace his lips. He’s polite when he can actually compose himself to speak, and so long as you aren’t openly damning the Quarian race to extinction, he’ll respect you and hold an open-minded opinion. And as for that, another thing about Vesn is that he has a very high opinion of the galaxy, being quite optimistic. He doesn’t lose hope easily and can hold high spirits and words of encouragement regardless of the situation. The problem lies in that his optimism can also lead Vesn to hold naivety. He generally views anyone and anything on a first time basis with a friendly eye, and given his somewhat secluded life on the Flotilla and his own personality, the young Quarian lacks certain experience with the outside. Surely that Batarian frigate simply mistook the ship for another and opened fire accidentally. Those Blue Sun mercenaries didn’t mean to pull out their weapons in this dark alley. That Volus is offering a great discount investment on an element zero mine for only 2000 credits. Vesn just has a hard time seeing the bad in others if he doesn’t have some preconceived notion of them, and can be easily taken advantage of by the less virtuous. And since he always sees the good in others, Vesn is rather trusting, as can be seen by his naïve nature. While this means becoming his friend or ally isn’t particularly difficult, a potentially good thing, it also means that again, especially nefarious characters can use that to their gain.
And speaking of trust, if you happen to gain Vesn as a companion, or at least share the company of the Quarian for a time, then you might discover a few more things about him. While he does have weapons and some amount of knowledge in how to defend himself, Vesn doesn’t exactly revel or even like the thought of having to harm another, holding a somewhat pacifistic mindset. Sure, he hates Geth as much as the next Quarian over, especially given his history, but the Quarian’s true love is being buried in scrap metal and VI programs safely in a research lab or engineer bay, not fighting on the battlefield. If given the choice, Vesn would rather solve his problems through diplomacy or words, perhaps not a strong choice with his lacking social talents, but he’s simply a young Quarian engineer with no prior experience in actual combat, far from any seasoned marine or commander, and his guns are about as familiar to him as a Krogan is with the concept of peace. Rather, Vesn’s familiarly lies with his omni-tool and his experience with electronics and mechanics, and herein lays the Quarians true passion. Oh, he’s essentially a puddle of nervous tears when you ask him what his favorite color is, but if you inquire on how best to optimize your FTL drive or minimize the overheating of your favorite weapon you’ll soon be wishing he’d stop talking. Such topics are areas of comfort and curiosity for Vesn, and his nervousness vanishes when he’s given an opportunity to practice his skills in the fields of technology and machines or expand his knowledge of such. In fact, his love goes far enough that he holds a highly technical view of the world, though he’s not apathetic or cold in any regard as a result, he’s just a young guy with a passion. Where one might see a lovely suspended walkway above the flowering gardens of the Presidium, Vesn will probably start blabbering about how the suspensions are made of the wrong material, the lights illuminating it far too dim and haphazardly wired, and that a family of Elcor would probably send the whole thing tumbling to the ground below.
Finally, if you truly get to know the young Quarian and become a stalwart friend, then a few more things about him will become apparent. As socially a mess as he is, one thing can be said about Vesn, he’s loyal to a fault. A pirate with a gun can get him to cough over a fortune of credits, but a pirate demanding information on the Migrant Fleet will be sorely disappointed. Like many of the close knit Flotilla, Vesn holds his own people in high regard, and fears doing anything that could potentially bring harm to the Quarian race. This same loyalty extends to any able to befriend or otherwise gain the affection of Vesn. This might be easier said than done given the limited scope of his friend making abilities, but once a friend of his you’ll find yourself with a stalwart Quarian companion who will go to the ends of the galaxy and back for you, though he’ll probably modify your thrusters into overdrive to make the ordeal go by faster. Last but not least, Vesn has a certain ambition going into his Pilgrimage. He hopes to return something to the Migrant Fleet that will greatly aid the Quarians, and wants greatly to prove himself as useful to the Flotilla, something he holds doubts as to its reality. He wants to find his place and find some use to his existence in the galaxy, and his Pilgrimage is as much an initiation into adulthood as a personal journey for Vesn, who hopes that in the end he’ll discover where he belongs among the stars and planets of life.
History:Vesn’s story began twenty-one years ago in the year 2165, in the secluded and vast expanse of Milky Way space known as the Far Rim, a member of the Quarian race in the large collection of star ships called the Migrant Fleet. His first breathes were taken in the “clean room” of the ship Arias, a small research vessel and what would be the young Quarians home for the initial years of his life. Vesn’s early childhood is mostly just a blur of disembodied voices and unfamiliar faces, and of course the despairing memories of living within the protective bubble all Quarian children are subjected too, prior to receiving their first enviro-suit. Some of the best recollections however are that of his parents, the first figures of his life and influential ones throughout. Vesn spent the most time as a child with his mother, a Quarian marine stationed aboard the Arias but who was on leave at Vesn’s birth and for some time afterward. His father spent a great deal of time with his son as well, or at least as much time as he could spare, for he was a researcher working at the Arias labs, and was frequently occupied with matters of the Flotilla.
When he was old enough, Vesn was finally given liberation from the torment of his bubble, and received his first enviro-suit, an important rite of passage for which both his parents were present. The rest of Vesn’s childhood held nothing particularly significant, the young Quarian quickly having learned the freedoms his enviro-suit offered, and living as well a life as any child of his race could in the cramped and sterile environment of a Flotilla ship. As he began to grow comfortable with his suit however, it was at a young age that Vesn began to discover and develop his passion with mechanics, beginning with occasional inquires about his father’s research, and soon budding into an active hobby that the Quarian held. When he was more accustom to the Arias and on the occasion that he was able to convince his father, Vesn would often accompany the man to the areas in which he worked, strictly instructed not to touch anything, but content enough to observe and question with curious abandon, and overall Vesn’s father was delighted at this development in his son, actively encouraging his interests. And when on his own, rather than recreating stories of Quarian marines or marveling at the sight of a frigate cruising past the starboard window as many children did, Vesn would go around the Arias, scavenging what he could find in order to build objects of his imaginations, and tinker with electronics and other devices to discover how they worked.
And this was something that Vesn’s mother did not readily approve of. While she did not hate this growing interest that her son held, as a stalwart marine she had visions of his future as a Quarian soldier, and as much as she cared for Vesn’s father, scoffed at the idea of her son following in his father’s footsteps. While having returned to active duty following Vesn’s departure from her care while in his bubble, on her leave the Quarians mother would attempt to keep her son in her presence as much as possible, continually reinforcing the idea of becoming a marine and of the glories and honor that a soldier’s life brought within the Migrant Fleet. Fearing the prospect of offending his mother by throwing off her actions, Vesn surrendered to her efforts, willingly listening to talks of battle and demonstrations of combat techniques, accompanying the female marine on trips to observations decks and visits to marines, until Vesn could recognize by suit almost every marine on the Arias and name half the frigates in the entire Flotilla. But willingness did not bring love, and the young Quarian dreaded the moments he spent with his mother, looking forward to the moments he could escape back to the world of scrap metal and circuits that he drew around him, or to the even rarer times he could visit his father while the older Quarian worked.
But as time passed, it soon became quite apparent to all, and painfully to Vesn’s mother, that his future was not that of war and battle. He held disinterest and even fear at talks of shooting Geth and could barely compose himself in the face of wounded marines. As he grew older he became increasingly knowledgeable in tech, electronics, mechanics, and other such fields, while he could scarcely tell one gun from another let alone actually have the capability of shooting anything. It was due to this that when Vesn entered his teens his mother finally gave up all attempts at winning her sons heart over to her side, and surrendered to his fascination towards more peaceful occupations. No longer did the young Quarian have to spend hours upon hours memorizing the weak spots of a Geth Colossus or recite the name of every great Quarian warrior since the dawn of their race. Now he concentrated solely with practicing and refining his engineering skills, and even began to aid with his father’s research, his talents manifesting into workable ability. While he did feel some amount of remorse at failing his mothers’ hopes and expectations, Vesn knew that the life of a marine was never to be his, and ultimately continued forward in his life with more hope than he previously held.
Unfortunately, his mother did not share this same outlook. Completely centered around the qualities of military life and a full believer of its ideals, Vesn’s mother saw only his decision to abandon a prospective military career envisioned by her as a stain upon her good name. In the weeks following Vesn’s decision to forgo becoming a marine and instead follow the path of an engineer, his mother grew distant from him, no longer spending every moment of her time with her son and instead withdrawing back to her military service. And during the seldom moments in which Vesn did share the presence of his mother, the woman showed clear disdain, typically throwing snide and taunting remarks about his progress under his father’s guidance and making no attempt at hiding the scorn she felt. Vesn’s mother also showed a similar attitude towards his father, holding him accountable for what she saw as the young Quarians “change of heart” from her desired path to following in his father’s footsteps, and gave both father and son the cold shoulder.
But while Vesn’s mother encompassed herself behind the barricade of the Quarian military and distanced herself from the rest of her family, Vesn found comfort and acceptance with his other parent, as his mother’s harsh disdain only brought the young Quarian closer to his father. Now a regular at the labs and workshops his father frequented, not only did Vesn begin to have hands on experience aiding in his father’s research and providing what help he could, the growing Quarian also began to develop the same curiosity he held as a young child, going throughout the entirety of the Arias in order to learn more about the areas of interest he held. However, now rather than simply scavenging small bits and pieces and taking apart and rebuilding minor electronics, Vesn began questioning, or as some good heartedly put, harassing, the other engineers and mechanics aboard the research vessel, attempting to gain whatever knowledge could be gained about the skills and abilities of a Quarian engineer. The young Quarian became a common, and welcome, companion for many of the Quarians who were responsible for overseeing hull repairs and ship modifications, drive core maintenance and navigational programming, and all means of mechanical and electronic tasks that a ship of the Flotilla demanded. While he still abhorred the thought of violence and war, Vesn even visited the marine barracks from time to time, interested in such things as the designs and mechanics of weapons and armor, as having been introduced to most of the marines by his mother he was given access, granted supervised access, to such equipment for personal study.
It was during such moments when Vesn could be found disassembling a pistol or eyeing the mechanism of a thermal clip that he had the only real encounters with his mother following the chasm that had formed between them. But even then such situations were confined to simply catching his mother’s eye, the latter of who would often just turn around and walk out without even a word, a thing that gave Vesn great pain. He did not hate his mother for the scorn she showed, and he even in fact somewhat blamed himself for the dividing of the family, still believing that he had failed to meet his mothers expectations, and that this was a fault of his character. Still, no matter how greatly the young Quarian wished to make amends, such a thing never transpired, and following the final years of his childhood Vesn almost exclusively spent them in the presence of his father or of other Quarians aboard the Arias, seldom seeing his mother save for the few awkward and cold encounters they shared. But Vesn’s path was final, and as he neared the late years of his teens, the journey he had begun as an engineer was finalized when his father gifted him his very own omni-tool that he had managed to salvage from his work. The last days before his maturity were spent with Vesn making use of this gift, something he prized highly not only for its true value, but also for its significance as coming from his father, and the young Quarian learned almost every aspect he could about the instrument and how to use it.
Finally, the moment came when Vesn reached maturity, and preparation began for the Pilgrimage he would need to take in order to become a Quarian adult and join the future ship he would be a crewmember of. Vesn was given training by other Quarians of the Arias in the hopes that it would aid him in the galaxy beyond the walls of his birth ship, and through the lessons and examples they provided Vesn gained limited but useful knowledge in areas such as basic medicine, survival techniques, and even some amount of combat ability, though limited in scope to simply enough that the Quarian would be able to defend himself from any potential danger, and he already held the vast experience with Quarian engineering that he had gathered over the years. Given the weak immune system of the Quarians and the dangers of infection leaving the Migrant Fleet presented, Vesn was also outfitted with special immunity boosting implants to give him as much an advantage as possible against any ruptures in his enviro-suit that might occur. Prepared as best as he could be against whatever the galaxy decided to throw at his Pilgrimage, Vesn spent the final days of waiting mentally composing himself for the journey that lay ahead. It would be an understatement to say that the Quarian was only worried; the prospect of leaving the Flotilla frightened him, but at the same time he held an ambition and fortitude of will to see his Pilgrimage through, and to give back to his people something upon his return. The sting of his mother’s disapproval still embedded itself in Vesn’s heart, and his Pilgrimage was as much a journey to prove himself to the Flotilla as it was for him to prove his worth to himself.
The day prior to his departure Vesn was given gifts by the other crewmembers of the Arias to aid him on his Pilgrimage, including basic supplies to sustain himself and a small supply of antibiotics in case he ever faced infection, and the young Quarian was even provided with weapons to defend himself, as much as he opposed the thought of carrying them, and a small supply of credits to give Vesn a slight head start. It was that night that the Quarian received a final gift from his father, for the older Quarian had on whatever time he could spare from his research prepared modifications for his sons omni-tool, and had then finally revealed them at a time he saw fit. The modifications were perhaps the most valuable gift, greatly increasing Vesn’s tech abilities, but also the most cherished, and following this display of affection from his father Vesn gained the confidence he needed to set out on his Pilgrimage. It was of little surprise to the young Quarian that his mother offered him nothing, not a word of advice or even a word of farewell, and although it caused him grief, he also did not flinch when he noticed that his mother was not among the crowd that saw him depart.
Regardless, the moment came when for the first time Vesn finally stepped off his birth ship, leaving behind friends, family, and race to begin his Pilgrimage. The young Quarian left the Arias and gained a ride from a small Quarian corvette named the Reibe that was momentarily leaving the Flotilla on a survey mission. Vesn remained aboard the small starship for only a portion of its mission, and soon after leaving the Migrant Fleet the Quarian was dropped off by the Reibe on the planet of Illium, within the large city of Nos Astra. Knowing full well what his goal was, but unsure where to begin, Vesn spent the next several days wandering the streets of Nos Astra, eyes open for any opportunity that could present itself, and well, from the sheer shock and surprise at seeing the city as well. Having lived his entire life aboard the cramped conditions of the Arias, a salvaged starship barely holding together, a bustling and high-tech city such as Nos Astra quickly became the most impressive thing the Quarian had ever laid his eyes on. While the new sights, sounds, and smells of the city invoked wonder within Vesn, it also took a great deal of time for him to get used to such things, years of living in the Migrant Fleet leaving him completely in awe and unprepared for the galaxy which lay beyond the Arias’ viewing ports.
And the sheer naivety which Vesn had for the outside world soon became painfully obvious. Only a week into his Pilgrimage the young Quarian made the mistake of ignorantly venturing into the Nos Astra alleyways, fully unaware of the hidden dangers the city attempted to keep shrouded away, and soon coming face to face with a group of Eclipse mercenaries. Needless to say they weren’t there to simply welcome Vesn to their planet, and if some Asari authorities hadn’t showed up when they did the Quarian would have likely lost more than just his credits. But though he escaped the encounter with his life, something not all could boast about, the event still left Vesn rather shaken with the realization of just what life outside of the confined homes of the Quarians entailed. He was no longer behind the protection of Quarian dreadnaughts and assault rifles, now he was fending for himself in a galaxy that often despised or took advantage of the Quarian people, and it was at that moment that Vesn began to realize the truth of this.
Above that however was the issue that now Vesn had no credits and no means of leaving Nos Astra, despite a strong desire to do so. For days the young Quarian pondered the predicament he had placed himself in, but in the end he was forced to do what many did in the corporate city, simply out of a need to survive. After consulting a broker and some amount of negotiation, Vesn signed himself away as an indentured servant to an organization called the Dantius Corporation. The deal was rather backroom given that he was a Quarian, and so he never came face to face with his employer, but knew that his duties now that he was an honorary “employee” of the corporation were to maintain and fix the mechanical systems of one of the Dantius Corporation production facilities. Although Vesn had full knowledge of the extent of his contract and its binding words, the Quarian still welcomed working for the corporation, not that he vested any interest in the organization itself, but because it meant he could do something he was good at and comfortable with. Beginning immediately, Vesn would go on to work for the Dantius Corporation for a little over a year, during which few major events occurred, and it was a year for which the Quarian was largely content with, being able to improve his skills and put to use all that he learned as a child aboard the Arias.
However, during the eighth month of his servitude, Vesn received a message carried by another Quarian passing through Nos Astra during her Pilgrimage. The message came from the captain of his birth ship, and while hearing from a Quarian so familiar was a welcome sight for Vesn, the news that the message conveyed also left him hollow and filled with grief. His father had recently departed to accompany a group of researchers and marines on a survey and data collection mission to one of the moons orbiting the planet of Ammut in the Ma-at System. The captain of the Arias informed Vesn that communications with the group had been cut off, and because the area was known to have a Geth presence, the worst was feared. Although it was not confirmed that the mission had met disaster and that his father had died, Vesn still took the news hard, his bond with his father having been stronger than any other. Knowing that there was nothing he could do besides wait for any confirmation, the young Quarian continued with his work following the message, but he still kept the knowledge of his father’s disappearance in his mind, and still bore it with sadness and bitter resignation.
Vesn received no further messages on the matter, and for a time his life once again lapsed into the norm that it had been following his servitude. But that would soon change, for several months following the news of his father’s disappearance the young Quarian entered his final month of servitude with the Dantius Corporation, though it was not the date that the final month was supposed to be according to the established contract. A week earlier Vesn had suddenly and without explanation been moved from the facility he had worked on during the entirety of his servitude to the construction site of the almost complete Dantius Towers, a place the Quarian had almost no knowledge about save for hearing that it was the supposed location of his employer. But rather than meeting him or her as he had previously expected, Vesn was simply ordered to check and repair any defects in not air filtration systems or lighting as was the norm, but mechs outfitted for combat. This and the noticeable presence of Eclipse mercenaries in the towers, mercenaries that the Quarian held no love for, alarmed him, though Vesn did as he was instructed. It took Vesn a week to go over the mechs and check what his employer wanted him too, and upon doing so was ordered to once again return to the facility he originally worked at, still with no explanation as to the purpose of his actions at the Dantius Towers. Though again Vesn had doubts and gladly left them for good.
However, on the following day when Vesn arrived at the Dantius Corporation facility, he was immediately informed that the details of his contract were now null and void, and that he was released from all bonds of servitude to do as he pleased. When he pressed for details, all that the Quarian was told was that his employer had suddenly become unable to head the Dantius Corporation following some “complications”, and that what Vesn did was no longer the corporation’s problem. Although curious, the young Quarian didn’t investigate any further into the matter, remembering full well the mechs and mercenaries his employer had acquisitioned, and not wanting to get caught up in what Vesn now understood to be brutal Nos Astra politics. Still, Vesn once again found himself with no credits and with nowhere to go, and was at a loss for some time. Remembering his father, the Quarian held the slight notion of returning to the Migrant Fleet and going out to search for him, but immediately realized not only the foolishness of the thought, but also the shame it would bring if he returned without a gift to present to a ship. Still, Vesn knew he couldn’t say in Nos Astra any longer, and raked his mind for any potential solutions to his dilemma.
Luckily, one soon presented itself to the Quarian. While walking across one of the city’s docking bays, Vesn overheard a group of Volus merchants arguing with an Asari trader over a damaged thruster on their ship, and how the price of a new one in Nos Astra was “nothing short of piracy”. What sparked his interest more than this however was that the merchants mentioned they were on their way to the Citadel, a place unvisited by the Quarian, but one that he had heard about aboard the Arias. The prospect of going to the Citadel brought excitement to Vesn, who had heard many stories about the wonders of the place, but more importantly, the Citadel was a place which wasn’t Nos Astra. Approaching the Volus merchants, the young Quarian offered his services to them, and while at first the Volus were wary of the suggestion, they soon realized that Vesn was saving them a fair amount of credits, and it was agreed upon that the Quarian would do what he could, and in turn would gain free passage to the Citadel. Although he hadn’t touched a ship in over a year, Vesn still remembered well the time he had spent on the Arias going over its components, and soon the Volus vessel was heading away from the planet of Illium with Vesn aboard as promised, much to the pleasure of all the parties involved.
The journey occurred without incident, and while he was somewhat distanced and kept apart from his Volus hosts and their army of guards, Vesn was more concerned about the place he was going to than the attitude of those he shared company with. When the ship finally docked at the Citadel the Quarian departed and entered the core of Citadel Space for the first time, and all wonder he held towards Nos Astra was immediately replaced. It had been a beautiful planet, but for the technical minded Vesn, the Citadel was paradise. Peering forth from the Volus ship as he had come in the Quarian had spotted a starship from almost every race and organization he could imagine, and almost twice as many that he didn’t even recognize. And the enormous station itself made all doubts about coming disappear from him mind. Walking off the Volus ship, Vesn had glanced and studied everything he could around him, marveling at whatever he saw, mostly the mechanical or electronic, but also at everything else. The space, the colors, the races, the Quarian didn’t even pay attention as he was ushered through C-Sec security and nodded absently as he was admitted into the Citadel. While he had no credits, no friends, and no plan, Vesn entered the Citadel and never looked back. This was a new start from both his life on the Flotilla and the disastrous year on Nos Astra. The Citadel was Vesn’s greatest opportunity yet, and he accepted it with open arms.

Currently on his PilgrimageMoral Alignment. ParagonMajor Skills and Abilities.Mechanical Skill – Vesn is a Quarian; that alone is a testament to his abilities in mechanics and electronics. He’s still young, and doesn’t have the skills one might find in a Quarian scientist or engineer, but working with machines and technology is still his specialty, and being a favorite past time means he’s continually trying to improve his talents in the field. Give Vesn some iridium and a bit of time and he’ll hand you a working pistol, a broken shotgun and his omni-tool will have you firing slugs back at your foes in no time, and he’ll make sure you get your copy of Fornax by rerouting your connection through those pesky Alliance firewalls. Vesn is also particularly efficient in restoring and upgrading salvaged equipment, having lived such a life aboard the Migrant Fleet, and though far from the best, the Quarian’s mechanical and electronic skills are certainly his greatest asset.
Heavy Pistol/Submachine Gun Proficiency – Vesn isn’t much of a fighter; he’s always been more concerned with how thrusters are built and mechs programmed than how to fire a gun. But it’s not a secret how dangerous one’s Pilgrimage can be to a young Quarian, and so he did receive some amount of training aboard the Migrant Fleet prior to his departure. He’s not a marine in any right, but Vesn can at least shoot straight, and was taught basic combat tactics and fighting techniques, at least enough that his chances of survival aren’t in the negatives. In particular he’s gained proficiency in using heavy pistols and submachine guns, both weapons that are easy to carry and provide mobility above firepower, as the Quarian is more interested in survival than victory.
Decryption and Electronics – Due to his own skill in mechanics and coming from a race known for their specialization in artificial intelligence and tech, Vesn has a commendable amount of skills in decryption and electronics. If there’s a locked door, sealed container, or blocked terminal in your way, the young Quarian might just be able to get you through it. As enemies might be to a foot soldier, firewalls, anti-hacking programs, and electronic countermeasures are foes Vesn is well versed in fighting. Additionally he can use his skills to repair items and vehicles and improve the quality of shields and defenses. And when it comes to enemies, particularly synthetic ones such as the Geth, Vesn given the chance can hack and electronically infiltrate enemy devices, lowering shields, overheating weapons, and shutting down defenses.
Combat Drone – A bit of a going away gift from his father, Vesn has the ability to activate an automated tech drone from his omni-tool to use if he ever encounters trouble along his Pilgrimage. He can only use one such drone at a time, but for the duration in which the combat drone is activated it will automatically target enemies and not only distract them for the Quarian, but the drone also stun targets with an electrical shock and damages their shields, providing some amount of useful combat ability.
Incinerate – Another modification added by his father, Vesn can launch a high-explosive plasma round from his omni-tool towards any opponent in his line of sight. If it strikes the round inflicts immediate damage, but its true effectiveness comes from the plasma that erupts from the round immediately upon impact, coating its target and anyone nearby and damaging them over time from the burns inflicted by the highly energized liquid and causing all health regeneration to stop. Additionally, the round does a great deal of damage to armor, with the plasma burning through most conventional means of physical defense and attacking the organic tissue underneath.
